Dr. Kelley Smith James, Founder
KSJ was founded by Dr. Kelley Smith James, a senior leader and licensed social worker with more than 25 years of experience working across public health, nonprofit, and federal systems.
Throughout her career, Dr. James has supported organizations and leaders navigating complex operational challenges, strengthening program performance, and improving the systems that shape how services reach communities.
Her work has included leadership roles supporting national initiatives, federal program oversight, and large-scale program evaluation—providing a unique perspective on how leadership, governance, and institutional systems influence organizational performance and long-term resilience.
Today, through KSJ, she works with organizations, ministries, and leaders seeking thoughtful guidance in strengthening leadership, refining governance structures, and building resilient institutions capable of sustaining mission-driven work in complex environments.
